Neferti X.M Tadiar, Professor of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Barnard College, Columbia University. She teaches about gender and power, political economy and
culture, globalisation, empire, colonialism, nationalism, and gender. She has published extensively. Her latest book is Remaindered Life (Duke University Press 2022).
