Our Societal Impact

Activities and venues for collaboration

We bring together researchers, care providers, policy makers and politicians.

We offer a venue for researchers from different disciplinary and interdisciplinary backgrounds and with an interest in medical humanities and bioethics, care providers, and other societal actors to meet. Our aim is to stimulate and facilitate collaboration locally, regionally, and nationally.

Colleagues at the Centre for Medical Humanities and Bioethics (CMHB) have much experience in collaborating with care professionals in research projects. Within the limitations imposed at present by the COVID pandemic, we plan to organise scientific salons around important societal issues in medical humanities and bioethics. These are but a few examples of how we collaborate with others.

Scientific salons

Our scientific salons offer an interaction forum for researchers, care providers, and politicians. On these occasions, we invite various actors to a panel discussion in which they contribute with different perspectives on a specific theme, and engage in conversation with each other and the audience.
