Affiliated Researcher

I am a phd student at Linköping University and work clinically as a physiotherapist at Rehabilitation Centre, Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping. My research is focused on risk- and health factors in patients with hip and knee osteoarthritis.

My research

In my research, I study risk- and health factors in patients with hip and knee osteoarthritis

They has been referred for structured core treatment (including education and individually adapted exercises) and registered in the National Quality Register for “Better Management of Patients with Osteoarthritis” (BOA).

I study if patients in the BOA Register differ from the Swedish general population regarding socioeconomic, health and sick leave. I also strives for identifying factors that can predict progression and long-term outcome for the patients in the BOA Register.

Previously I have also studied physiotherapeutic treatment of acute ankle sprains.
