Internationalisation for increased quality

There are several reasons for increasing international collaborations and elements in education and research. The main one is to increase the quality. In a global world collaborations are also important in contributing to solve society's challenges.

In taking part in strengthening the quality of LiU's education, research and collaboration, the team international collaboration and project support’s task is to provide support to activities promoting collaborations within internationalisation. My role is to lead the team.

The US, with a focus on the Bay Area, is one of LiU's prioritised geographical regions. My role is to develop and coordinate the work in the region.

Both assignments are based on external and internal strategic documents and guidelines.

I am a member of the management group at the International Office.

After many years in the business sector in roles including communication manager, marketing communication manager for North and South America, South Africa and the Middle East, as well as project, event and brand manager, I am delighted to be back at Linköping University, where I’m also an alumna.

Here at LiU I have worked as Head of Student Recruitment and Alumna Office and as Head of Marketing Office at the Communications and Marketing Division. I look forward to continuing to contribute to strengthen the university in international collaborations.
