Didacticum (DID)

Didacticum is a centre created by the vice-chancellor. Our mission is to contribute in a creative and innovative manner to improving expertise and methods in education and teaching at the university.

Two elements of Linköping University’s strategy are to attract excellent students and doctoral students, and to ensure that they graduate.

In order to be able to offer educational programmes and courses of the highest quality, the university teaching personnel must unceasingly increase their level of expertise. Didacticum offers such expertise development in the form of, for example, courses, seminars and workshops. It is intended that teachers are to improve their skills and learn new ways to carry out teaching and examination in various learning environments.

Didacticum is a centre of pedagogic excellence created by the vice-chancellor. The centre has pedagogic developers and other personnel on secondment from all corners of the university, and together we conduct and contribute in a creative and innovative manner to improving expertise and methods in education and teaching at the university.

The aim of our operations is to contribute to skills development of both individual co-workers and groups of employees, and our operations are to supplement the developmental work carried out in faculties and departments.
