The future of business training
As a future-facing university, Linköping University is a proud partner in a new European online Master’s programme, Digital4Business. The Master's qualification is jointly awarded by the University of Bologna (Italy), National College of Ireland, and NOVA IMS (Portugal), providing international recognition across European markets.
Launched in March 2023, Digital4Business is a €19.92 million EU-funded project awarded under the European Commission's flagship DIGITAL Europe programme for digital upskilling to accelerate economic recovery and shape the digital transformation of Europe's society. It will accelerate digital transformation in Europe, helping businesses grow through innovation and the practical application of advanced digital skills. Students benefit from diverse European perspectives and specialised expertise while gaining practical skills that translate directly to workplace success.

Five flexible learning formats
The fully accredited and industry-certified masters is taught online. To accommodate diverse professional needs and learning preferences, Digital4Business offers five flexible learning formats:
- Full-Time Programme (2 semesters, 60 ECTS)
- Accelerated Full-Time Programme (3 semesters)
- Part-Time Programme (4 semesters over two years)
- Postgraduate Certificate (30 ECTS)
- Microcredentials (5 or 10 ECTS modules)

Our contribution
Linköping University contributes to Digital4Business with its broad and deep expertise in AI and cybersecurity, teaching two modules for the Joint Professional Master’s programme, starting from September 2025: AI for Business and Cybersecurity for Business. We have previously contributed to the quality assurance process of Digital4Business to make sure that the education developed and the overall project results meet the highest standards.
