My research

My research area is medical radiation physics where I work in the fields of radiation dosimetry and radiation therapy with a special focus on various aspects of brachytherapy.

Brachytherapy is a form of radiation therapy for cancer where small sources of ionizing radiation are used to irradiate tumours from within the patient.

I currently hold a Senior Clinical Investigator Award from the Swedish Cancer Society providing 70% research time 2018-2024. I combine my research here at LiU with clinical work as a medical physicist in radiation therapy at the Karolinska University hospital. I am connected to the Centre for Medical Image Visualization, CMIV, here at Linköping University and have an affiliation to the Department of Oncology-Pathology at the Karolinska Institute.
