Senior Associate Professor

My research is focused on ventricular function in aortic valve disease and on pedagogical research in medical simulation for health care professionals.

Presentation

Curiosity and the joy of discovery are my driving forces both in research and in teaching. 

My clinical research projects focus on ventricular function in patients suffering from aortic valve disease while the pedagogical research project is connected to medical simulation for under- and postgraduate health care professionals.

Simulation in Health Care - the simulation educator's perspective

We study pedagogical development of instructors in medical simulation over time, with focus on both individual and organisational development.

Myocardial Adaptation in Aortic Valve Disease

Aortic valve disease can lead to strain on the left ventricle of the heart and ultimately heart failure. Our research aim for better diagnostics and treatment for these patients.
