Physical therapist, working clinically in sports medical care. Since 2015, a PhD student in sports medicine, focusing on ACL injuries and choice of treatment. Teaching at the physical therapist programme and Sports medicine course.

Research within sports medicine; anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries.

My specific research area is about the choice of treatment after an ACL injury and how to evaluate the treatment, patient-reported, in a proper way.

Sport without injury programme - SWIPE

Our research includes study of injury occurrence and risk factors in sports. We also evaluate the efficacy of injury preventive measures, and their effectiveness, including applicability in different sports and sporting populations.

Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury can result in joint instability, decreased functional performance, reduced physical activity and quality of life, and an increased risk for post-traumatic osteoarthritis.
