Bharti Kataria

I am a diagnostic radiographer with 33 years of working experience who trained at Bristol School of Radiography in Great Britain and graduated in April, 1980. As a student, I was awarded the Bryan Adam’s memorial Prize for best practical radiographer. I worked in Nairobi, Kenya for a few years before immigrating to Sweden in 1985.

I obtained the Swedish license to practice radiography in 1991 and have been working with the Radiology department Vrinnevi Hospital in Norrköping for the past 25 years during which I graduated with a Bachelor´s (2008) and Master’s (2013) degree in Medicine (Nursing). Since March 2014, I work with the Radiology Department in Linköping and am enrolled as a PhD student with both Linköping University and CMiV. Linköping University has been the base of my academic studies; I found my niche in evaluation of optimization methods for abdominal Computed Tomography examinations and my ambition is to work in the field of clinical research.
