WCMM postdoc program

WCMM Linköping will support the recruitment of postdoctoral researchers in molecular medicine. We will support projects with 250 000 SEK per year for two years for selected pairs of PIs and postdocs. We aim to support around 12 projects, and the funding can be used to partially fund a scholarship or an employment of the postdoc. The recruitment will be done in several stages with the first one being an international advertisement.

Requirements/eligibility:

  • Eligible supervisors are WCMM PIs or other research leaders at LiU/RÖ who team up with a WCMM PI
  • The PI (or pair of PI’s) apply together with a postdoc candidate
  • WCMM-PIs can apply for a maximum of two projects, and only for one project as main applicant
  • The postdoc candidate will typically not be at LiU at the time of application but can have been in the group for a maximum of three months at application deadline

In the announcement we will ask candidates to contact you directly and you will select the candidate you want to apply together with. The scientific advisory board (SAB) will assess all applications and suggest the projects to the steering committee (SG) to decide upon.
