My research is mainly focused on optimal design related to acheivement tests. In part, it is focused on test design but also on calibration of items from a statistical point of view.

I am interested in different types of statistical issues regarding achievement tests. Right now I'm focusing on two types of optimal design problems. Partly, how tests should be designed regarding item difficulty when measuring ability growth. And partly how test examiners should be allocated during item calibration.

More specifically, I am currently developing combinatorial optimization algorithms to find the optimal designs.
