Prior to your arrival, there are a few important activities and dates to keep in mind:
Roll call
The course starts at 8.15, Monday 19 August in room R41, C Building, Campus Valla, with a mandatory roll call. You must attend in person - on campus - to confirm your place on the course. If failing to do so, you will lose your place. Find out more about mandatory roll calls here. The information on this page also applies for this course.
Roll call for waitlisted applicants
If someone accepted to the course does not show up at the roll call, there Is a possibility that waitlisted applicants can be offered a place. Waitlisted applicants are then called in turn according to the ranking. The roll call for waitlisted applicants will take place via telephone on Monday 19 August between 13.00-16.00 (CET). You must decide in advance whether you are interested in a place or not. If you fail to answer when we call, you will lose your place on the waitlist. Please note: you are also expected to start your studies on campus within that week (19-23 August). If you do not receive a phone call during this time, the course is full.
We use the telephone number that you provided in connection with the application to www.universityadmissions.se. If this no longer applies, please update your university admissions account. If we phone you, the call will come from Sweden, area code +46 13 xx xxxx.
Conditionally admitted students
If you are conditionally admitted you must upload your degree certificate and transcript of your last semester(s) both in original language and with an English translation to your Universityadmissions account as soon as possible.
If you want to decline your offer
While we really want all of our admitted students to choose Linköping University, it can happen that you decide to attend elsewhere. If this is the case it is very important that you let us know you won’t be attending the course as soon as possible, by declining your offer at universityadmissions.se. You do this by logging into your account and following the instructions under the 'Applications' tab. This might free up your place to someone on the waiting list.
Tuition fees
Students who are not citizens from Sweden or the EU/EEA are required to pay their tuition fees no later 25 July, 2024 to commence studies at LiU. Until you are sure you can reside and study in Sweden, we advise students not to book any non-refundable travel.
