CNB is located in the historical industrial landscape by Motala river in Norrköping and is open to the public. Collections comprise general areas but are mainly focused on nursing, technology, pedagogics and social sciences.
The library provides spaces for both individual and group studying. Three group study rooms can be booked through LiU's booking system. On warm days the terrace offers outdoor study places with a view of the water and the industrial landscape. The two floors in the library may be reached by a lift.
In DigiMaker, which is a digital lab and a makerspace, there is equipment for digital storytelling and VR as well a 3D printer. After taking part in an introduction lesson, students and employees are free to use these tools.
Students and employees at LiU have access to the library on a self-service basis outside of opening hours. To access the library premises during self-service hours, you need a valid LiU card with PIN. Read more: Self-service hours
Use the self-return machine in the library to return your books. Library books can also be placed in the book drop outside the library entrance. Borrowers without a LiU-card may only return books during the library’s opening hours. LiU students and employees also have the option to return library items during self-service hours.
