The library’s services are mainly adapted to educational and research needs at Linköping University’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, but the library is also open to the public. Collections comprise the subject areas medicine, nursing and public health.
Medical Library has many study places, divided into different zones according to noise level. If you want to read in a noise-free environment, there is the quiet reading room in the most interior part of the library.
Students and employees at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University Hospital Campus, have access to the library on a self-service basis outside of opening hours. To access the library premises during self-service hours, you need a valid LiU card with PIN. Read more: Self-service hours
Use the self-return machine in the library to return your books. Library books can also be placed in the book drop outside the library entrance. Borrowers without a LiU-card may only return books during the library’s opening hours. Students and employees at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences also have the option to return library items during self-service hours.
