Microscopy

Microscopy Unit is part of Core Facility at the Medical Faculty, Linköping University, and is an open resource for advanced microscopy for research groups within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Linköping University, as well as external users.

The Microscopy Unit is located in the House 462, Entrance 71, Level 10.

Here new and old users are welcome to discuss imaging related questions, learn new sample preparation techniques and get trained to use microscopes, sample preparation instruments and image processing software.

Following a mandatory introduction and training, users are free to independently book and use the lab and the equipment within.

Microscopy

At floor 10 in House 462 (entrance 71), The Microscopy Unit offers a wide selection of basic and advanced microscopes.

Electron microscopy

The electron microscopy lab provide technical assistance to perform EM of tissue samples and cell cultures grown as monolayers or in suspensions as well as visualization of extracellular vesicles.

Histology lab

The Histology lab at Core Facility provide technical assistance to perform histology on specimens.
