It is always important to keep your target audience in mind to reach the right people at the right time. My tasks are governed by who the target group is and depending on whether it is employees, students or future colleagues, I develop and adapt the message and content accordingly, whether it is printed or digital material.
Most of my time I work on tasks for the Digitalisation Division, where the assignment is broad. It can involve producing printed material, editing text for internal information pages, doing interviews and news, taking photos, following up on statistics and making short information videos. Just to name a few. The IT field is constantly evolving and it is important that our co-workers and students are informed, can keep up and are given the opportunity to think in new ways.
When it comes to our intranet for students and co-workers, I am part of our central intranet group. I have a training responsibility for our internal network of editors. I am also responsible for planning different themes to highlight relevant internal content at the right time of the year. I am also happy to experiment with new features and contribute to the development in our content management system when possible.
