As a student or employee at LiU you have access to library e-resources 24/7. This guide will provide you with the information you need to access e-articles, e-books and databases.

Special needs

As a student with a reading impairment, you have a right to access talking books. The Library can help you create an account for the talking books service Legimus.

Library services in distance education

As a LiU distance student you can use our digital library to access electronic books and articles and have printed books sent to your home address.

DigiMaker

DigiMaker is the Library’s creative space for learning and testing technologies, techniques and methods. We offer equipment such as 3D printers, sewing machines, and recording equipment for creating videos and podcasts. And much more.

Library instruction

Library instruction comprises areas like information seeking, source criticism, scholarly publication, referencing, and academic honesty. We offer lectures, workshops and other activities, primarily to students and PhD students at LiU.

Study in the library

The library offers individual study seats, quiet reading rooms, group working places, group study rooms and public computers. During daytime librarians can help with information seeking. Facilities for copying and printing are available.
