Jian Zhou successfully defended his doctoral thesis titled "Context-Aware Predictive Motion Planning for Safe Autonomous Driving" on January 22.

Zhou is a PhD student in Vehicle Systems and was supervised by Erik Frisk, Professor at Linköping University. The opponent was Associate Professor Javier Alonso-Mora, Delft University of Technology.
