Why choose a master's at LiU?

Linköping University offers international master's programmes taught in English. Most of them are two years long and count for 120 credits (ECTS). Currently we offer over 20 international master's programmes in five subject areas.
Linköping University offers courses at both undergraduate and master's levels in a variety of study fields. Courses (single-subject or self-contained) taught in English are offered for non-degree students and exchange students.
Please note that it is possible to take individual courses taught in English, but such courses cannot be combined to form a final degree at Linköping University.
One week of full-time studies corresponds to 1.5 credits and a 20-week academic semester corresponds to 30 credits.
Courses taught in swedish
Students with sufficient skill in Swedish can choose from a large number of individual courses. Linköping University offers approximately 500 single-subject courses taught in Swedish, most of them at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Students applying for courses taught in Swedish must fulfil the general admission requirements, the specific admission requirements, and the language requirements in Swedish.
