Research

Ongoing Research Projects

  • NFFP8: TFighter aircraft conceptual design considering on-board systems integration through power management. Funded in a collaboration between the Swedish Armed Forces, vinnova and LiU.
  • Elflyg Sverige: Analyzes future airspace configuration and infrastructure solutions at airports focused on air traffic management through the modeling and simulation of sustainable aircraft technologies. Collaboration between the Swedish Airports and Air Navigation Services (LFV) and Linköping University.
  • RETAS: The Regional Sustainable Aviation for Northern Europe project studies the potential social and climate benefits of a new sustainable transport system within Northern Europe analyzing technology, choice, demand, environmental impact and policy instruments. Collaboration between the Swedish National Road & Transport Research Institute (VTI) and Linköping University.
