My research focus is sustainable logistics, and my main role is to coordinate transport research at LiU. I am also employed by Scania, where I work on future products and services within urban freight transport systems.

Transport and mobility - a high-profile research area

Transport and mobility is one of LiU's strategically selected areas of development that is of great relevance to our society. The research has three main orientations; the traffic system, the logistics system and the vehicular system.

Climate smart transport systems is a highly relevant and fast-developing area, both in research and in practice. Our research asks how logistics systems should be designed and run in order to be more sustainable.

LiU professor on the advance of electrification: Amazing progress

Electrification is surging forward as a major part of the transition to emission-free transport. The first electrically fuelled long goods transport can hit the road soon as well as commercial airlines will offer flights on electric airplanes.
Automatic bus

New route brings the public into research

The Ride the Future collaboration project is extending the route taken by its autonomous buses. From the middle of September, the route will include Vallastaden residential district in Linköping.
