For retail logistics, this is an exciting time, in which close collaboration, new technology and innovative thinking are shaping the logistics solutions of tomorrow.

Presentation

My research focuses on the ability of retail companies to adapt their logistics in a constantly changing world.

With increasing globalisation and digitalisation, logistics has taken on an increasingly prominent role, and providing customers with good service through well-functioning logistics has become a key competitive advantage in all forms of trade.

In my research, I specifically examine how Swedish retail companies adapt their logistics to support various strategic initiatives. This includes, for example, how logistics should be designed to support expansion into new markets or the creation of innovative logistics solutions for customers. To achieve success, companies need to constantly review their logistics to best meet future needs and keep pace with global giants such as Amazon and Alibaba.

To meet the challenges of the future and the increasing competition in the retail sector, we need innovative thinking, openness and effective collaboration, both internally and externally, in order to achieve long-term success. In addition to my research, I teach a number of logistics courses, such as the Logistics Project Course and Sustainable Logistics Systems.
