Biopolitics of A.I. technology, surveillance, and ethnicity
PhD project
In my research I explore the practices and infrastructures of contemporary A.I. surveillance technologies and biometrics utilized in policing. Departing from a context of increasing securitization and technological-solutionism, domestically as well as internationally, I critically explore the ways ethnicity and other identity categories are materialized in this specific surveillance of bodies and its implications on organizations of social life and value production.
