Vi forskar på intuition, reflektion och emotion i ekonomiskt beslutsfattande.

Målet med vår forskning är att förstå vardagligt beslutsfattande och dess bakomliggande processer, både på individnivå och på samhällsnivå. Vi undersöker samspelet mellan intuition, reflektion och emotion i ekonomiskt beslutsfattande. Vi är intresserade av frågor som:

  • När och varför är individer villiga att ge upp egen vinning för att hjälpa andra?
  • När och varför fattar individer riskfyllda ekonomiska beslut?
  • Hur värdesätter människor utbetalningar vid olika tidpunkter?
  • Hur kan beslutsfattarprocessen förbättras så att människor fattar bättre beslut?

Vi undersöker dessa frågor med hjälp av en mängd experimentella metoder, från fältstudier och beteendestudier i labb till nyare neurovetenskapliga metoder som fMRI, hudkonduktans, ögonrörelsemätningar och genetisk data.
